A dinner with Cathy & economist Walter Williams in the mid-1980’s will remain in my now 70-year old memory bank forever. The conversation sizzled with hilarity & honest congeniality. She was one-of-a-kind, an entrepreneur. Her honesty and genuine caring created a light within her that will never be extinguished. I’m so glad to have known her.

To the Family of Cathy Milton,

Please accept my deepest condolences upon the passing of Cathy.

She was an outstanding newswoman, and an even better person. Her dedication to covering the issues important to all Pittsburghers was legendary.

In addition to knowing her as a reporter for WTAE TV-4, I also had the opportunity to be invited by Cathy to be a guest at her wonderful Tea Room in Sewickley.

Cathy will be greatly missed by so many in Western Pennsylvania whose lives she touched with such great dedication.
