Catherine A. Myers

Myers, Catherine A. ALBANY Catherine A. Myers, 56, of Albany died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born May 22, 1960, in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late Francis M. and Isabel (Lebrecht) Myers-Heald. Cathy's friends and family know her as a kind person, with a keen mind and quick wit. She found the interesting and absurd in everyday life and shared the joy of those things with all around her. Cathy touched many people with her kind and generous spirit. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. She is survived by her longtime companion, Megan McCormack of Albany; sisters, Maryanne (Edgar) Hernandez of Valatie, Michael F. (Sandra) Myers of Stuyvesant. Cathy is also survived by her brother-in-law, Michael C. Skinner of Mentor, Ohio; her nieces, Erin Skinner, Elizabeth (Beth), Elaine and Emily Hernandez, Kimberly Myers, Erin Hildreth; and her nephews, Tyler Myers, and Timothy Atkins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her step-father, Douglas Heald; sisters, Margaret F. Myers and Doris M. Skinner; and brother, Robert J. Myers. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Valatie with Rev. George Fleming officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook St., Valatie NY.
