O'Sullivan, Catherine (Finnegan) - of Brighton, passed away January 31, 2024. Formerly of Williamstown, County Galway, Ireland.

Beloved wife of the late Timothy O'Sullivan. They were married for 40 years before his passing in 1999. Devoted mother of Mary Maureen (Edward) Nolan of Medford, Sean (Karen) O'Sullivan of Hingham, Patrick (Christina) O'Sullivan of San Francisco and the late Gerard O'Sullivan.

Cherished grandmother of Courtney, Katie, Sean, Thomas, Sarah, two great grandchildren Olivia and Nathaniel and her beloved grand pups Holly and Hazel.

Cathy spent 43 years in the nursing field working at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton and had a true gift of caring for others. Cathy always put her patients first and cared for them with endearing love. Over the years she received many accolades from her patients' family members thanking her for her devotion to their loved ones.

Cathy will be remembered for her quiet demeanor, warm heart, her kindness, and her unwavering love for her family. Her nurturing nature and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that is everlasting.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The family is so thankful for the care she received at St Elizabeth's Medical Center, CareOne in Newton and the dedicated staff at FirstChoice Hospice. Special thank you to Maureen Moore Stapleton and Anne Calnan who supported Cathy and her family so much over the last few months of her life.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of her dear departed husband, son, and family members.

Family and friends will honor and remember Cathy's life by gathering for Visiting Hours on Saturday, February 3rd in the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE, from 2-4PM. A Prayer Service will conclude at 4PM. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
