Catherine Porter Obituary
Went home to be with the Lord at age 90 on Friday, September 26, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Cherished mother of Dianne Goodover Deep and Sam Deep. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Goodover and the late Amos "Dale" Porter. Daughter of the late Catherine and Andrew Simonetti. Dear sister of the late Hannah, Edith and Andrew . Loving grandmother of Jodi Dresmich, Joseph Dresmich (Linda), Melanie Beran (Nate), David Deep (Erica), and Amy Soboslay (Paul). Blessed great- grandmother of Ben Coleman, Joshua Wadsworth, Victoria Wadsworth, Nicolas Dresmich, Emily Dresmich, Luke Dresmich, Aiden Dresmich, Caitlin Soboslay, and Zoe Soboslay. Also survived by loving nieces Pat, Joann and Carolyn; nephews Tom and Ron and the late Bill; and grandson-in-law Bill. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9PM Tuesday at NEELYS 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA. A memorial service will be held at 10AM Wednesday at the funeral home followed by interment at Mt. Royal Cemetery. Memorials suggested to The Pregnancy Care Center of Wexford and Oakland, 1000 Brooktree Rd. Suite 310 Wexford, PA 15090.

Dear Dianne and Sam,
Your Mother (Aunt Kay) was a strong woman who had a love for the Lord, Jesus. Her love for Him took her through 90 years of life - good and bad with grace. Her personal convictions are a lesson we all can learn from.
You and Sam and your love of the Lord were a blessing to your Mom and also to us that know you. Your caring for Her was unsurpassed. I am so happy that you are in my life and I thank you Mother (Aunt Kay) for making that possible. We are so lucky as a family to have had all the love from our parents/grandparents that we share.
