SCHELL, Catherine Anne
Passed away on June 19, 2016. Catherine will be dearly remembered
by beloved husband David, son Daniel, Tyler and Ryan, brothers
Barry(Monica) Schell, Doug (Shelagh) Schell, sister Donna (Frank Panetta),
sister in-law Carol Schell and her many nieces and nephews. Catherine was
predeceased by sister Claire Elaine and brother Cliff Schell.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Princess Margaret Hospital
for their wonderful care and support for Catherine throughout her long battle with
leukemia. In lieu of flowers a donation to Princess Margaret Hospital would be
greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto,
on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 5-8. Funeral Mass will be held in the
Canadian Martyr's Church, 522 Plains Road, East York, ON M4C-2Z1 on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.

I just learned of Catherine's passing from a colleague. I wanted to send my love to all of you. I have such lovely memories of her as an involved and supportive parent who loved her boys dearly. I didn't know how she had the time to do so much with (and for) them. Perhaps the biggest testament to her parenting is the fact that I named my son Tyler. When confirming the choice, I thought of your family and how amazing all three of your boys are!
