Catherine "Cathy" Sibley, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born on May 10, 1947, in Conneaut, Ohio, to her loving parents, Catherine and Francis Williams. Cathy is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Sibley, and her parents.

Cathy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her son, Joseph Sibley, and her siblings, Mark Williams, Dave Williams, Pam Condlyffe, Amy Topper, and Mary Williams. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish their memories of her.

Cathy had a passion for music and was an accomplished pianist and singer. She dedicated many years to the Akron Symphony and Choir, sharing her beautiful talents with the community. Her love for music brought joy to those around her and will be remembered as a significant part of her legacy.

Cathy pursued higher education at Kent State University, where she expanded her knowledge and grew as an individual. She cherished her time there and valued the experiences gained during her educational journey.

St. Patrick Church in Kent, Ohio, served as a place of worship for Cathy. It was a sanctuary where she found solace and connection. Her faith was an essential aspect of her life, providing her with strength and guidance.

The compassionate professionals at Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio, are assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. Their support and expertise during this difficult time are greatly appreciated.

In honoring Cathy's life, a funeral service will be held at a later date. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and share cherished memories.
