Rosa L. Torres, born on May 24, 1946, entered rest on January 30, 2020 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel D.Torres Sr.; parents, Ramon and Felicitas Longoria; son, Daniel L. Torres Jr.; brothers, Ramon Jr. Longoria, Ernest Longoria, Anthony Longoria; sister, Juana L. Alvarado.
She is survived by her sons, David L. Torres and wife Norma, and Ernest Torres; daughter in law; Agatha Torres; sisters, Julia Garcia and husband Arthur, Oralia Longoria, Phyllis Rodriguez and husband Carlos; grandchildren, Daniel Torres III, Jeremiah Torres, Mariah Ann Schenck, Azelyn Sanchez, Abner Torres, Savanna Torres, Samantha Torres; great grandchildren, Alyssa Torres, Christian Torres, Isabella Torres, Katie Torres, Kelsie Torres, TJ Daniel Schenck, Novah Sanchez, Jadah Sanchez, and Amias Sanchez; She will also be missed by her good friends, Paula Moore and Josie Hernandez; and her beloved pet, Beans.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M in the Hillcrest Chapel. Procession will depart Hillcrest on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 10:15 A.M. for a 11:00 A.M Chapel Service at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
