Catherine L. Taggart

Catherine L. "Cathy" Taggart died on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home in Levittown. She was 70.

Born and raised in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Loretta (Kelly) and Albert Williams, Cathy was a graduate of Saint Athanasius Elementary School and Cardinal Dougherty High School. Cathy has been a resident of Lower Bucks County for the past 45 years.

Throughout her working career, Cathy was employed with the Bucks County Judicial System, Bucks County Department of Health, Walmart and National Appraisal Service.

She was a lifetime member of the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.

Beloved wife of the late Walter Joseph Taggart, Jr., Cathy is the loving mother of Catherine "Cathy" Motsko and Joseph Epp.

She is the devoted grandmother of Mark Janora, Jr. (Tonya), William "Chris" Janora, KassiAnn Motsko (Joseph Chintaman), Austin Motsko, Christopher Jones, Emilee Epp.

Cathy is the proud great grandmother of Michelle, Mark, Isabel, Taylor and Lillian Janora, Jayden and Julianna Chintaman.

She is the sister of Joseph (Peggy), Billy (Jeannie) and Paul Williams (Nancy) and Mary "Rose" Yordy.

Mrs. Taggart is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Ashley and Thomas Williams, Amy, Billy, Jenni Williams, Eric and Jessica Williams and Ed, Steven and Ken Yordy and their families and her cousin, Bernadette Atkins (Bill).

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Shawn Michael Janora..

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, from 9:00 until 10:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, 616 E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
