Catherine Vann Obituary
Cathy is survived by her brother Robert (Bob) and sister-in-law Jean Burke of Waterbury, CT. Sister Almeda (Mimi) Boyd of Philadelphia, PA. Her daughter Monica Robinson of Cedar Hill, TX, granddaughter Erica and grandson-in-law Amian Khaliq of Lewisville, TX, grandson Martin Hamer of Waterbury, CT, and grandson Torrance Adams II of Cedar Hill, TX. Six great grandchildren, Elijah Hamer, Ethan Hamer, Elias Hamer, Eva Hamer, Zyaire Khaliq and Zuri Khaliq.
Cathy worked at Smiths Medical in Southington, CT for 28 years. She retired in 2015 and moved to TX to be near her daughter Monica. She was an avid bowler for many years in CT and enjoyed playing cards and video games. Her laugh was her claim to fame-it was loud, infectious, and contagious. She was a force to be reckoned with, known for being funny, witty, kind, and caring. Cathy was a strong woman and the matriarch of her family.
Her legacy of love and laughter will always be remembered by those who knew and cherished her.
There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on April 27, 2025 from 2pm-7pm at the Wolcott VFW Post 1979, 1115 Wolcott Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716
