Catherine Viner Obituary
She was born in Bangor, the daughter of William and Patricia Viner. She attended Bangor High School and graduated from The Mary Burnham School, LaSalle Junior College, and The College of Marin.
Cathy lived for many years in California where she was an art consultant. She moved to Florida in 2004 to be with family, where she proclaimed weekly that she lived in paradise.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Levine and her children, Lauren Levine, Cheryl Shainfeld and her husband Bob, Scott Levine and Douglas Levine; her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Diane Viner and their children, Elana and Gabrielle; several close cousins, especially her 'twin cousin and alter ego' Priscilla Williams, Peg Emple and Paul Emple, and Don and Nina Cutler; her 'surrogate' daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jason Lee and their daughter, Rachel; lifelong friends Charlotte Jerace and Deane Stern, and many other dear and loving friends.
Cathy did not want any service, so she can be remembered by a gift in her memory to either The Kenneth Grossman Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Bangor School Dept., 73 Harlow St., Bangor, ME 04401 or any no-kill cat shelter of your choice, with acknowledgments sent to Priscilla Williams, 10924 Stafford Cir. S., Boynton Beach, FL 33436 or Thomas Viner, 162 Sunup Lane, Surry, ME 04684.

I knew Cathy from high school as she was just a year or two ahead of me and had many mutual friends. She was always very sweet. My prayers are with her family.
