FRANKLIN, N.C. - Cathy Lavina (Price) Blauner, 48, of Bentwood Drive, Franklin, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Homestead, Fla., a daughter of the late Clifford Price and Martha Simons. She was married for eight years to Robert A. Blauner, who survives.
Cathy was a cashier at Bi-Lo.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, Benjamin M. Kreitzer of Franklin; one stepdaughter, Fairen Blauner of Genoa City, Wis.; two sisters, Mildred McCormack of Mims, Fla., and Patricia Gentzel of Middleburg, Pa.; and one brother, Allen Price.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, in St. Francis Catholic Church, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, P.O. Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744, or to the Angel Hospice, c/o Angel Medical Center, 170 Church St., Franklin, NC 28734.
The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I was real sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I grew up with her but lost track of her through the years. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with the family especially her sister Pat
