Cathy Patricia Collins

Cathy Patricia Collins, born on July 11, 1962, departed this life on December 15, 2024, following a brief illness with an aggressive cancer. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Her time with us was far too short.

Cathy was the beloved partner of Bradley Howell and the cherished daughter of Marilyn Patricia Collins (née Grant) and the late John Joseph Collins. She is remembered with profound sorrow and love by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Cathy was a bright soul with a fierce intelligence and work ethic. She had a loyal, kind, and generous heart, and lived her life with passion and purpose. Raised in Pitman, New Jersey, Cathy spent many happy summers at the Jersey shore. After graduating from Duke University, she moved west -- first to New Mexico, then to Seattle, where she built a full and meaningful life.

She enjoyed a successful career in supply chain planning, holding key roles at companies including Microsoft, L'Oréal, Pacific Market International (PMI), and Medtronic. But Cathy was so much more than her work. A woman of many talents and interests, she was devoted to Brad, family, and her community of friends in the Seattle music scene. She traveled extensively, loved the great outdoors, and found peace in the natural world -- camping, hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing.

Cathy is so dearly missed. Her memory will be cherished always.
