Cecelia Jean Lehman

Cecelia J. Lehman, 80, Argusville, ND died on Thursday, June 4, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, ND. Cecelia Jean Hagemeister was born on March 9, 1928 in Fargo, ND to John and Bonnie (Davis) Hagemeister. She graduated from high school at Argusville in 1946. Cecelia attended Fargo Business College and then worked for Fargo National Bank for a short time. She married Dallas L. Lehman on November 6, 1949. They made their home on a farm near Argusville where they raised their family. She worked at motels in Fargo in the early 1970's. In 1979, she started working at St. John's Hospital for 11 years. Dallas and Cecelia farmed for many years. She was a member of Herby Lutheran Church and active in the ladies circle. She was also involved in the Argusville Mission Circle and Bonanza Belles. She is survived by her husband, Dallas; three children, Jim (Thelma) Lehman of Hope, ND, Marlene (Lee) Rorman of Fargo and Marty (Sue) Lehman of Fargo; four grandchildren, Angela (Tom) Bush, Jessica (Brent) Williams, Eden Lehman and Keith Lehman; four great grandchildren, Amelia, Trish and Sophia Bush, Brynn Williams; two brothers, Leo (June) Hagemeister and Vernon (Ruth) Hagemeister both of Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Cleo (Leo's twin). Memorials may be given to charity of choice or pulmonary diseases. Visitation: Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 PM with a prayer service at 4 PM at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND. Funeral: Monday at 11 AM at the Herby Lutheran Church, rural Argusville with visitation one hour before. Burial: Herby Lutheran Cemetery. Condolences can be sent via westfuneralhome.com
