Cecil Sherman Beck

Cecil S. Beck, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died February 14, 2017, at home. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Memory Hill Gardens with Bro. Jim Robertson officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. C. and Lucy Beck and sister, Irene Brown. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hollingsworth Beck of 61 years; sisters, Loretta Stone of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mozelle Taylor of Pleasant Prairie of Wisconsin and Patricia Burroughs of Burlington, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Lonnie Hollingsworth (Eveline); sister-in-law, Vera Glossup (Larry); and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Joseph Stewart, Dr. John Mantle, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Colman and family, Mr. Kary Rowe and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roberty Burroughs, Sharon Sullivan and family, Keven Rowe, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Sparks and family, John Gregg, Sandra Chavez, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Turner, members of United Baptist Church, Linda Coats, Karen Strickland, Brenda Gregg which was a special friend and caregiver, Lindsey Hastings which was a special nurse, Jemeka White which was his aid and AlaCare Home Health Hospice Care.
