Obituary
Cecil M. Henderson, Sr., 84, of North Fort Myers, died January 17, 2002. He was born February 24, 1917 in Baker, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Iris Henderson of North Fort Myers; son Cecil M. Henderson, Jr. of North Fort Myers; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren and one sister Geraldine Sherman of Barnard, Missouri.
A resident of the Fort Myers area since 1949, he and his family built many of the stilt homes on Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island.
He was a member of the Bayshore Community Chapel of North Fort Myers, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge; most recently a member of the Noah Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Myers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2002 at North Fort Myers Memorial Funeral Home 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway with Rev. Rae Means officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of service. Interment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
