It's coming up in almost 4 years since you've been gone and it's still not real in my head. I come see you every time I'm in town and wish I could make it more. You were the best influence in my life besides my pops. I love you papa and wish I could hug you just one more time. You're car will always be a great reminder of you. Every time I sit in it I remember the first time you let me drive it while you rode shotgun. Best times of my life were in your shop just watching and learning. I hope you're proud of the man I've become. See ya on the other side papa❤

I've really been missing you lately. Yesterday I just needed to talk to you and you're not here. So many good things are happening in my life and so many things I want to tell you. I talk to you all the time but it's still not the same. So many things you never got to see. You once told me Baby Girl make ole Big Dad proud and you would be Cec. You'd be so proud of your Baby Girl. I know Jesus took you home because he knew your life with him would be better that what you had here I understand that. I'm not bitter I just miss you so much. I know you hear me when I talk to you but the selfish part of me wants to hear your voice. It's times like these that I really do wish heaven had visiting hours. Then I could sit with you a while and tell you all these things. I could hear your laughter and hear you scold me. You were such a big part of my life. I realize now that you truly were the love of my life. We weren't perfect but we were happy. I believe you loved me then and still do now. I've come to realize you will always be my one true love. Take care Cec and someday when God sees fit I will see you again. I miss ya Cec. Your Baby Girl.

It's been two years and two days since you went home. Sometimes it feels like an eternity sometimes it feels like yesterday. A couple weeks ago I picked up my phone to tell you something. Then I remembered. Funny how that happens. I miss ya Cec.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cecil passing...I just found this out last week. He was dear to my Dad and to me. I can still see him walking with little Coal. He had a big heart. I will miss him. Give my Dad a hug for me Cecil.

Cecil always made me laugh.
On a more serious side, Cecil always placed so much importance on family - he was the glue that held everyone together. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
