I hope you are resting comfortably in the arms of the angels. If I become half the man you were, my life will be a success. Thank you for your kindness and wisdom. It was a privilege to have known you.

Dear Arlene and family, Fred and I are sorrowing with you but rejoicing with Cecil who is now in the presence of his blessed Savior. We can only imagine the joy he is experiencing. When I told Fred that Cecil had passed, he said, another piece of salt taken off the earth. A real tribute to Cecil's testimony for Christ as he walked among us. May the Lord bless and keep you during this time. Love, Freddie and Sue

Dale and I are saddened by your separation at this time, but Cecil is delighting in the Lord. We wanted so much to make the trip to Pitt to visit with you Arlene and to talk with Cecil once more before he departed for this journey. We deeply regret not being able to make it to the funeral and wish we could be there with our Christian family to support and commune with you and your family. I would have loved to see your daughters and grandchildren again and to meet your son and his family. Thank-you so much for contacting us and allowing us the opportunity to reflect on Cecil's impact on us and our Christian walk. God be with you and uphold you and your family. Dale and Wendy McCoy

With deepest sympathy, very fond memories, and greater joy for Cecil's peace and rest at home with his Father -- I will forever remain blessed to have known him and his profound love of the Lord.
May the same God who has welcomed your husband, father, grandfather and brother home, keep you in His care through this difficult time and always.
Love,

Traci,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Your dad fought as long as he could and now he is free. Let the memories of him comfort you in the days ahead. May he rest in peace.
