Durring this time we had the pleasure of comming to know u and Ron and ur family , Cheryl and Ron Jr . Cec was part of the welcoming party when the Norths of England first reunited with our long lost Canadian Dawson-North family in 2007. It was a special time for us and I'll never forget how Cec welcomed us and made a fuss of my daughter Abi. This photo of Cec and Abi says it all really. She loved children and I'm sure she will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.

My heart goes out to you Ron and your family...I will always remember Cecile having to rescue her off her balcony in the biggest wind storm ever after locking herself out of the house and couldn't get down a ladder. While we waited for her son to come we sat there with blankets, drinks and lots of laughs. You will be missed and PS we will make sure our yard is done just for you xo Mike and Bea

Cecile, you were an amazing and Loving woman. From the first time I meet you as Ron's mom I knew you were a very special woman. A heart as big as and ocean and infectious laugh. You will be missed deeply by many, specially Ron Sr, Ron Jr and Cheryl, Jackie and all the Grandkids. You are gone to soon, but I am so glad you were part of my life.

Dear Ron & Family, I am very sorry to hear that Cec has passed away. Though I hadn't seen you folks in awhile (2012) I have fond memories of getting to know you in Thunder Bay ( through Earl & Donna Fossum) before you moved to Hampton. Cec was always fun to be around with lots of laughs & great food. Cec will be missed very much.
Sincerely , Art Dupuis

Dear Cec,

You'll be missed very much. You're missed very much already.

I first met you over 30+ years ago now, and almost instantly you and Ron Sr started treating me as if I was one of your own. Immediately I found my second home, my second set of parents. I also found a brother that I never wanted, but that's a different story for another time. ;-)

Ron Jr and I were glued to the hip during our teen years, through our twenties, and into our early thirties. You were always there. Even when you met Wendy and Zachary for the first times, you welcomed them into your arms and heart Immediately, just like me. I know we didn't get to see each other as much over the last several years, but when we did, it's like we never missed a beat. I loved watching you talk with Wendy, it was like you've known her forever.

When Ron Jr (and I) would get in trouble, especially (and mainly) Jr, you'd straighten us both up. Even if I was innocent, I was guilty by association, and you'd let me know it too. I'm surprised you never grounded me and passed on the grounding to my parents... Lol!

I know that you'll be looking down and looking over your family. Protecting and guiding them. Doing what Mom's and Grandma's do best. :-)
