For the short time I was blessed to have known Cecilia, she brought great joy and laughter to all that knew her. I will forever remember her singing and dancing in our hallways. Rest in peace dear Cecilia; you will be missed.
With great love, and much respect,

Dear Sandra and Carol - I want to share my deepest sympathy to both of you on the passing of your dear mother. I think you will remember me as Nancy Ouvry - now Nancy Kitchen and living in Byron Center, MI. My Aunt Phyllis called me to tell me of your mother's passing and I just had to share my sincerest condolences. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Mary, and I will always remember the baby shower she gave for my Mom when she was expecting my sister, Debbie. Carol - I remember we presented flowers to the princess of Belgium when our mother were officers in the Women's club - how exciting was that! And Sandra I remember we got together one time when you lived in Grand Rapids quite sometime ago. Your Mom was a dear lady and a dear friend to my Mom and I thank her for that. May God keep you strong during the difficult days ahead. With love, Nancy Kitchen

My husband and I did not know Cecilia, but if she was anything like her daughter, Sandra, she must have been a very special lady. May God keep her in the palm of His hands.

Ceil was a happy figure in my life for as long as I can remember...always brought laughter with her whenever she went..so many wonderful memories of her with family, the Van Dammes, the Beyers, the Kurzyniecs..always loved hearing she was a school crossing guard, but called herself "A Street Walker" She was a treasure to so many, a true blessing to know!
