Sister Donohue was born on January 6, 1925 and passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017. Sister Donohue was a resident of Emmitsburg, Maryland at the time of passing. Sister Celeste earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from St. Joseph College, Emmitsburg in 1962 and a Master's in History from the University of Detroit in 1970. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:00 pm in the Villa Chapel in Emmitsburg. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 19 at 11:00 am in the Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, Emmitsburg, followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
