Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 4, 2024.
Celester Joseph Penzo, known affectionately as Husk, passed away on December 11, 1970, in his hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas, at the age of 83. Born on March 20, 1939, also in Tontitown, Husk led a life marked by personal and professional achievements that left a lasting impact on those around him.

Husk served with distinction in the United States Army National Guard, dedicating himself to his duties and exemplifying the values of duty and commitment inherent to military service. His time in the service was characterized by a steadfast dedication to his country and fellow servicemen and women.

Professionally, Husk was a highly successful Realtor within the Tri-state area, known for his integrity and dedication. His love for the outdoors was evident in his personal life as well, where he spent many joyful hours golfing and horseback riding.

Husk leaves behind his devoted wife, Rita, his daughter Angela, his son Clinton, and his niece Jennifer Pianalto Gills, all of whom will deeply miss his presence and cherish his memory.

Services to celebrate Husk's life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Sisco Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas, is assisting the family during this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Husk's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, an organization he held in high regard. Husk's legacy will live on not only through his family and the many lives he touched but also through the contributions made in his honor to continue the fight against heart disease.
