Celia Wells

WELLS, Celia Joyce June 30, 1942 - March 3, 2011 Celia Wells was born in St. George's, Grenada. Celia immigrated to Calgary in 1969 with her family. Celia would say her greatest achievement was raising her children. She painted, wrote poetry and loved gospel music. She battled pancreatic cancer for three years and remained positive, warm and spiritually strong until the end. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of March 3. Celia is survived by her two sisters Marcelle and Yvonne, and four children, Richard, Aden, Neva and Kathleen. She adored her fifteen grandchildren, Kathia, Jasmine, Fabrice, Courtney, Xavier, Ethan, Jade, Ashley, Antonio, Shayla, Tonya, Marcus, Sade, Simon and Derion. Celia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly treasured and missed by everyone who knew her.
