Cesar A. Gallegos, 67, passed away August 20, 2105 in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Callao, Peru to Luis Francisco Gallegos and Lucia Cervera.
Cesar was one of ten children. He came to the United States in his twenties. He worked over 35 years in building maintenance and during that time he was able to bring all of his family members to America, including his mother and stepfather.
He was very much a family man. Cesar enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He and his wife Rita, married 28 years, enjoyed get togethers with family and friends as often as possible. He loved music, dancing and soccer. He was an avid gardener and wonderful cook. Cesar had a kind and generous heart. He was loved by all, family and friends.
Cesar was a great admirer of his country, Peru and strong believer in his faith, including the patron saint of Peru, Senor de los Milagros. He and his wife Rita were married on September 26, 1987 in New York City. Cesar had many plans for the future, but his illness prevented him from doing so. However, he was able to return to Peru for one last time before his illness.
Cesar was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, brother Jorge and sister-in-law Margo. He leaves behind his beloved wife Rita, beloved dog Max, daughter Denise, son Cesar, Jr., four grandchildren and many family members. Cesar will be greatly missed. We were blessed to have him in our lives.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. A second visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Chapels, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601.
