Cezar Miranda Obituary
He was a lifelong resident of New Bedford and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was formerly employed as a welder and worked on the fishing boats on the docks. He was a retired member of the Local #59 Teamsters Union and also was a member of the Fairhaven American Legion.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Karen Gajewski of FL, Gabriel Miranda & his wife, Shelly, Mark and Kathy Miranda, all of New Bedford; many grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, James Miranda of New Bedford; four sisters, Herminia and Susie Jerome, Florence Diniz and Alice Miranda, all of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Miranda, Hilda Bernardo and Mary Correia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Mary Church on Saturday at 9 AM. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow.
