Chandler "Charlie" Embry Livingston

March 29, 2005 - March 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share that Chandler "Charlie" Embry Livingston passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, just shy of their 20th birthday. Though their time here was far too short, Chandler lived with breathtaking courage, fierce love, and a spirit that burned bright and wild.

Born with fiery red hair and a personality to match, Chandler had a gift for making people laugh-whether through a perfectly timed one-liner, a goofy photo, or their signature silly faces that brought joy from childhood into young adulthood. They embraced life with humor, honesty, and a heart full of love.

One of the highlights of Chandler's life was attending Weber State University, where they were a dual major in Digital Media Design and American Sign Language. Though their college journey was interrupted by illness, they cherished every moment-walking campus, living in the dorms, experiencing life with old friends and making new ones, and studying in cozy coffee shops. That sense of independence and belonging brought them immense happiness.

Chandler's heart beat strongest for their friends and family, especially their mom Ashley and younger siblings Luci and Parker. They also shared an extraordinary bond with all of their adoring grandparents.

In March 2024, Chandler was diagnosed with CIC-DUX4 sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that began in their heart. But their heart was strong-unwavering in both love and spirit. They moved through months of treatment with quiet bravery, meeting each day with grace. When the time came, they chose presence over pain, love over fear, and embraced their final days with open arms.

Chandler met the end of life as they had lived-with clarity, wit, and grace. In their final hours, they were surrounded by family, wrapped in blankets beneath a strong old oak tree, reminding us of their favorite lyrics from Asc. Scorpio: "You got it wrong, it's not as it seems." Chandler always defied simple definitions-fierce yet gentle, bold yet tender-a child and a storm, all at once.

Their favorite color was sage green. They loved tattoos that marked meaningful connections, dressing up for fun, and surrounding themselves with people they loved. Chandler never tried to be anything but themself, and they inspired others to do the same.

A Celebration of Life for Chandler will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place at Gardner Village (1100 W 7800 S) in West Jordan, Utah. All who felt touched by Chandler's journey are warmly invited to join us. Attire is spring fancy in honor of Chandler's love for style and color-no black, please.

Chandler's legacy will live on in the laughter they sparked, the truths they told, and the love they gave. Whether they now journey through another realm with loved ones, prepare for a new life, or remain woven into the hearts of those who knew them-one thing is certain: they will always be with us.

We love you beyond words, Chandler. Leave us now, you are sky bound.

Charlie´s light was unlike any other-fierce, warm, and beautifully real. She had a way of making you feel seen, heard, and loved just as you are. I will carry her laughter, her strength, and her unshakable authenticity with me always. Even when it´s raining, the sun is still shining-and Charlie is that sun, shining through all of us now. Thank you, Charlie, for the love you gave so freely. You changed us all.
