Charlene Clardy Obituary
Charlene was the loving wife of Richard Clardy for 19 years, and the mother of Timothy Clardy, both of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Angie (Brian) Keyser of Barboursville, WV and many special nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. She also left behind God-parents, Dick and Judy Wolfe of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by four children: Emmanuel, Hannah, Kathy and Charles Clardy. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Cressie Cantley, Frank and Annie Jane Stover and Frances Laverty, and her dear friend, Shera Wolfe.
Throughout the years she enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher and Children's Ministry Director. She enjoyed crocheting special gifts to share with others. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 6:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7:00 PM at Sharon Baptist Church. Interment will be in Huntington, WV.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the charity of choice that deals with Special Needs Children.

I am so sorry for your loss. Both Richard and Charlene have touched so many lives, including my own...and we have never met. When I had concerns about my daughter's health, y'all were usually one of the first to reach out. I will always keep y'all in my prayers. God must've needed her more in heaven than we needed her here. Again, my heart hurts for your loss. She will truly be missed.
