Charlene Borges O'Rourke, 75, of Vallejo, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully, Dec. 13.

Charlene was born May 4, 1941, in Benicia and lived there during her childhood. Her family moved to Vallejo when she was a teenager and she has been a lifelong resident of Vallejo since. She was a proud classmate of St. Vincent's Ferrer High School Saints Class of 1959. She retired from Doctor's Hospital of Pinole as Director of Patient Account Services.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dean; her mother and step-father, Dorothy (Arneson) and Fino Saccullo of Middletown; siblings, Susan (Greg) Conley and Bonnie (John) Souza of Middletown, Dick (Cora) Scholl of Fairfield, and Donna (Jerry) Cooley of Vacaville; uncle, Howard Arneson of San Rafael; children, Mark (Josie) Niccum of SC, Christine (Alan) Hill of Vallejo, Jay (Jill) Niccum of ID, Paul (Jackie) O'Rourke of MO, and Michael (Felice) O'Rourke of Lafayette; grandchildren, Brian (Kim), Daniel, Kelly (Shaun), Jennifer (Sam), Danielle (Jake), Tyler, Josh, Joey, Allie, Hunter, Nolan, Spencer, Aerin and Ryder; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Kaileigh, Trenton and Olivia; her caregiver, Alison Read, who brought her so much joy and laughter; her sweet companion, Nivey.

She is preceded in death by father, Bud Borges; sister, Ramona Holbrook-Walls; brother, Michael Borges; and granddaughter, Stephanie Nicole Niccum.
