CHARLES A.
Age 84, of Beechview, surrounded by family at his winter home in Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Beloved husband of 60 years to Marlene A. (McClelland) Bannon; loving father of Kathy (Paul) Miller, Kevin (Kate) Bannon, Karen Lukasik, Karla (Sonny) Clair, Krissy (Andy) Marzzarella; grandfather of Janine, Andrea, Jennifer, Kayla, Tara, Lauren, Rachel, Steven, Ashley, Erin, and the late Bryan; great-grandfather of Rylan; brother of the late Robert Bannon; also survived by a niece and four nephews. He was a retired service technician for Sears, and active member of St. Pamphilus Church. Chuck loved spending time with his wife and family, working around the house, gardening, volunteering at church and volunteering spring training for the Phillies' baseball team. Visitation will be held Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Pamphilus Church. Entombment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Donation in his memory may be made to St. Pamphilus Church or a hospice or charity of your choice. Condolences may be given at:
