Chuck not fair you left too soon. You were here so often to help me in times of struggles. If you were 1,000 miles away you always managed to make me smile, laugh and go on .

Charles was my very first date. He took me to the Vienna Grade School Carnival, when we were in fifth grade. He will always be "Charles" to me.

My condolences to his family, and to all of his friends. He definitely made a difference in our lives, as he shared his wisdom, art, journeys, and photographs.

Rest in peace, Charles. You are now a new kind of shining star.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I´ve known Chuck since we were children at Vienna Grade School. I was so happy to reconnect with him on FB and to own a bit of his artwork. What a kind and diversely talented man he was. My heart is with all who knew and loved Chuck.

It's tough losing a childhood friend. School, Scouting, Sand lot sports and summer buzz cuts. Our moms were den mothers for den 3, pack 20. Chuck hosted my bachelor party and loaned me his muscle and his dump truck to help me move into my first home. Chuck was Prince. We lost touch over the years, but Facebook brought us together again. I am grateful for that. I really enjoyed seeing his postings and paintings. Like Chuck himself, they are joyful. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Until we meet again old friend.
