Charles Boatright Obituary
He was a truly beloved husband, gracious son, endearing father, and brilliant, physician.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years,
Patricia Boatright, his two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie, his son Charlie, and his beloved dog, Herschel and the rest of "The Gang."
Danny is the son of Frank S. Boatright and Wilma Boatright
of Jesup, Georgia and brother of three sisters; Pat Hayes,
Sue Blocker, and Ellen Taylor.
Danny was a generous man with a heart and mind that allowed him to excel in his medical practice, raise and provide for his family. He devoted his free time to the things he loved most; his wife and Herschel. Receiving his MD from Medical College of Georgia and graduating from UGA he was a loyal and devout UGA football fan. He never missed a game. He enjoyed The Annual Island Parties with the "Armadillos" in St. Simons, Ga. These were some of his best memories and stories. He had a sense of humor that keeps us laughing.
The love our family had was unconditional. "And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make." May you stay forever young Danny. Go Dawgs! We love you!
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home.

We want to extend our deepest sympathies to Pat and the family. We were fortunate to spend time with them when we visited from the North and always remember Danny's conviviality and wonderful sense of humor. Condolences and love to all from Roger and Mary Ellen.

Each and every memory of Danny makes me smile.....even in sadness, I smile thinking of Danny. He was brilliant, quick-witted --quick as lightening, always direct, and lived his family with a fierce passion. I am so sad for all of his family because I know how much each will miss him.... Loved Boats.

Boatright (what we called him) was my third brother growing up. He always had to put up with me if he was with Derek and Dale. He was with us almost every evening. When I think of my childhood memories, the Boatright family is always a big part of them. I'll always remember hearing the sound in the late evening of Mrs. Coot stepping out her back door hollering "Danny, Danny" because she knew he was at our house. Great memories of our dear friend!!
