I have just found out about Charley´s passing from my friend Dave Adams. We all served at Korat RTAFB late 60s, early 70s. Charley showed me around the base when I arrived for duty in 1970. He was a nice guy and I´ve never forgotten him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Charley was a good friend of mine, even though we hadn't seen each other since he retired from Sisbro trucking. That is where we first met and have been friends ever since. We would talk quite often, I will miss him dearly.

Uncle Charles had a great heart. Always sent all of us warm birthday wishes every year. So sad to hear he passed. He´ll be missed.

Charley was my brother of the heart - he decided many years ago to be my loyal and caring friend. I aspire to be more like him every day - even when his strength failed he persevered; even when his perseverance failed he had hope and faith; even when all else failed he had love and his love of his beloved Carroll, their sons, their families and his friends never failed; his love will last forever. He was a true, honorable and loving friend and I will miss him dearly each and every day. Rest in peace Charley, dance with Carroll and be well.

So sad to hear that my Uncle has passed away.... He will be greatly missed. I loved to read his daily text messages he would send out. It was very up lifting. Also, will always remember all the family Christmas we would all have when we got together.

Charley was such a thoughtful and kind soul. He would send birthday and Christmas cards every year to us and never forgot. He would send early and always write in the back that we had to wait to open it until that date. Lol. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We are grateful to have know him. Heaven has another Angel and he is reunited with the love of his life. Thinking of family and friends and sending love and prayers in this time of grief.
