Charles E. "Chuck" Buck Jr.

November 4, 1952 – August 25, 2025

Charles E. Buck Jr., affectionately known as Chuck, passed peacefully into God's heavenly kingdom on August 25, 2025, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was lovingly cared for by the staff at Serene Suites and NorthStar Hospice.

Born on November 4, 1952, in Lebanon, Ohio, Chuck was the beloved son of the late Charles and Patricia Buck. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Wagner, and is survived by his sister Maggie Buck.

Chuck shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Margaret "Peggy" Sorg Buck. Together they raised three children who were the pride and joy of his life: Bryan (Kathy) Buck, Chad (Melanie) Buck, and Sara (Eric) Limper. He was a loving grandfather to Kaylin, Kara, and Bennett Buck; Landon and Madison Buck; and Leo and Oliver Limper.

A dedicated professional, Chuck served as General Manager of the Jake Sweeney Automotive Body Shop for 40 years. He was known for his unwavering commitment to excellence, a quality that was evident in every aspect of his life. Chuck was a quiet, thoughtful man with a deep love for his family and a lifelong passion for sports-especially football and basketball. He was endlessly proud of his children and grandchildren, always cheering them on in their athletic and personal pursuits.

Chuck was a 1971 graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School and went on to play football at Baldwin Wallace College, graduating in 1975. He and Peggy were faithful members of Christ Church Glendale since their marriage on April 23, 1977.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Music Fund of Christ Church Glendale or to NorthStar Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Christ Church Glendale, 965 Forest Avenue, Glendale, Ohio 45246.

Calling hours: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, with a luncheon to follow in the parish hall.

We were blessed to have Chuck as our son-in-law and will miss his quiet, gentle and loving presence in all of our family gatherings. We know he is now free from struggling with the really tough challenges of Altzheimer´s and being welcomed into God´s beautiful heaven.
