Charles Cato Obituary
Charles E. Cato, of Caseyville, Ill., born March 26, 1949 in Alton, Ill., passed away February 16, 2017 at his residence.
He was retired from Terminal Railroad, the Caseyville Fire Dept. and the Street Dept. of Caseyville.
Charles was preceded in death his father, Paul Cato of Caseyville, Ill.; brother Jerry Cato; and sister JoAnn Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda Cato, whom he married June 24,1967; two sons, Jimmy (Krista) Cato of Vernon, British Columbia and Jeff Cato of Caseyville; two granddaughters, Courtney Cato of Belleville, Ill. and Emily Cato of Vernon, British Columbia; his mother, Dorothy Cato of Caseyville, Ill.; two brothers, Jim (Kris) Cato of Atlanta, Ga.; Don (Jan) Cato of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Brenda (Rich) Gorsuch and Karen Arriola both of Caseyville, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services: A celebration of his life will be held on March 25th from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Collinsville Recreation Club, 427 S. Mulberry Road, Collinsville.
