Charlie Bourdages, 60, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, in Kittery, Maine after a years-long battle with prostate cancer. Born on August 9, 1964, in Washington, D.C., Charlie lived a life defined by kindness and dedication-to his family, his work, and the cycling community he so deeply cherished.

Charlie was the founder of Site Structures Landscape, a company he led with vision and commitment for 27 years. Through his leadership and hard work, he built more than just landscapes-he cultivated lasting relationships and left a tangible mark on the places he helped shape.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Charlie was known for his unwavering kindness and quiet strength. Even in the most difficult times, he remained focused on helping others-whether through a thoughtful gesture or a generous act. His compassion touched many lives and left an enduring impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Charlie loved to "make his bike go fast." That love for cycling extended far beyond personal enjoyment; he was an active member of the seacoast bike community and gave back as a coach for the Portsmouth High School bike teams. His enthusiasm inspired young riders and helped foster a vibrant local cycling culture.

At the heart of Charlie's life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Holly; his daughter Lea; his son Alec; and his cherished grandson. His love for them was evident in everything he did-from everyday moments to lifelong support.

A memorial service to honor Charlie's life was held in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

Charlie Bourdages will be remembered for his generosity of spirit, his deep love for family and community, and the joy he found in every ride. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire acts of kindness along every path traveled.
