Charles Burnham "Bud" Chase

Charles "Bud" Burnham Chase went to be with his Lord on the afternoon of August 27, 2017 in Katy, Texas. Bud was born in Norman, Oklahoma on January 15, 1961. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma before coming to Texas.

Bud's passion was the Lord Jesus Christ, and because of that, he deeply loved his family, friends, and ministry to others here and abroad. Bud's most memorable and impactful moments were his devoted investments of encouragement, laughter, and faith in the ones he knew best. His legacy lives on in the love and hope that he inspired in their lives.

Bud is survived by his wife Karin Chase, son Cameron Fulcher, and daughter Chailynn Chase and her sister Charis. He is also survived by his sister DeeAnn Batten, step-mother Vicky Chase, mother-in-laws Geri Godley and Janet Warren, sister-in-laws Kimberly Zeren and Konni Godley, brother-in-law Lance Warren, step-sister Jill Otwell and her husband David Otwell, nieces Kathrine Gilmer, Kaylin Zeren, and Katelynn Batten, and many loved ones in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Mexico, India, and China!

Bud is preceded in death by his parents JayDee and Betty Chase, sister Kaye Lynn Chase, and his father-in-laws Bill Godley and Richard Warren.

A Worship and Celebration Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Dr. Houston, Texas 77057.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Chailynn's college has been established for donations.
