Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 18, 2024.
Charles Everett Bayne Jr., of Cedar Lake, IN, aged 58, passed away on September 16, 2024. Known affectionately as Chuck or Chuckie, he was a vibrant, outgoing individual known for his loud presence and generous spirit. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a loud, hearty laugh. Chuck made a significant impact on everyone he met.

Professionally, Chuck was a skilled tradesman with expertise in HVAC and electrical work. His career spanned various industries where he has built homes and completed large-scale electrical projects in factories and industrial buildings, along with work in the restaurant industry. His ability to fix anything broken and build anew was unparalleled.

Chuck's love for adventure was evident through his hobbies throughout the years which included snow skiing, water skiing, playing cards, and snowmobiling. Chuck loved spending time with family and cheering on his children with every avenue of life. He cherished time at the lake house, a place that brought him great joy and relaxation. Chuck loved being around people and having a good time together creating memories.

He is survived by his son, Charlie Bayne; daughter, Heather Jones (Casey Jones); mother, Cathy Edwards; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father, Charles Bayne Sr., preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Chuck in October, where family, friends, and acquaintances will gather to remember his remarkable life and contributions. Chuck's life was a testament to living fully and giving freely, leaving a legacy that will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
