Dear Gerry and Family:

On behalf of dear Chuck's cousin, Mildred Czora Schmitt and her family, I wish to extend our sympathies during this time of your loss. My memories go back to first hearing, then seeing smiling Chuck bounce into our home once a month to pick up my parents insurance premiums...a business and family visit all in one. Again during my youth, and in later years, it was our family gatherings at Thunder Bay. I thank my grandmother, Catherine Clauss Czora Winter, for keeping us abreast of her wonderful family through ALL the years.

May you find Peace in Chuck's New Life.

Dear Gerry, Eric, Christian, David, John, and Scottie,

Know that I will miss Chuck in Thunder Bay. There are people that you meet throughout your life that always bring a smile to your face. Chuck was one of those people for me. He was always looking at life in the positive, and he was always there with a sharp quick, funny wit to make me chuckle. I am so sorry that no-one from the Siegner family made the service. Be assured that Chuck is in our prayers.

Your friend, Hugh Siegner

Christian,
Growing up with you, your parents were amazing. I remember all the fun times we had. Skiing, the beach, and hockey in the backyard on Woodbridge. Your dad was always smiling, and encouraged us all to have fun. He was an amazing man. I will never forget his smile. He will always be remembered.

To the Clauss family, I spent a good part of my early childhood in the house on Woodbridge with Moose and my twin brother Robert. I have great memories of those days. After so many years, we are still friends. When my Dad passed, at the memorial, I looked up and there was Christian. He was visiting his Dad and took time to attend. I am sorry that we are in Switzerland, and cannot be with you at this time. As I look at the Clauss Family, I see so much of both their Father and their Mother. The children are the perfect combination of both.
I know that your Father's illness was long and not easy, he is at rest and the suffering is over. Now is the time to remember the great family man, business man and gentle man that he is and was. His legacy lives on …

We have enjoyed much time together. We did a lot of laughing. You are still the smartest man I ever knew, and now the most courageous. You are at peace. I will think of you at sunset. I will miss you much.
