Charles Z. Cyr

So proud to hear him so beautifully spoken of at the 2024 USFS Governing Council today.

I was one of the lucky employees to have Charlie as my supervisor until I left Desert Orthopedic Center in 2006. There is a saying by Dr. Seuss that says "don't be sorry it's over, just be happy it happened". I am very happy Charlie "happened". There are so many of us that knew Charlie on different levels such as coach, supervisor, skating judge and friend, but the luckiest are the ones that got to call him husband, dad, grandpa, brother, son, etc. My daily thoughts and prayers go out to the Jolene, Ashley and Allison and all the rest of the family.

Peace and love to Charlie's family.

Peters baby brother, we will miss you and carry you with us all of the days we are here, wonderful memories made,we are heartbroken and still trying to wrap our heads around it.we will miss you and continue to love you, Love Pierre, Kathi ,Kami his Godchild and niece & Ollie& Scarlett.

My Condolences & Sympathies to Jolene, Allison, Ashley and the Cyr family. I had the privilege of working with Charlie at Desert Orthopedic and am honored to have known him.

Charlie I will always remember you and Jolene coming to our house when Michael worked nights in the ER and you would make pizza and it was a so special. I know we will all meet in heaven so make room for all of us. Love you and Jolene and the girls. Love Cyrs

Our deepest sympathies to Charles' family & friends. Charlie was our role model & coach in his younger years with the Edmundston Figure Skating Club. It has been an honor to watch him accomplish all that he has in this sport throughout the years. May all your beautiful memories together bring you peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Charles only a few times, but you could see and feel his love for family and life. May Jesus Christ fill you, his family, with peace and comfort during this time.

Allen and his family and I send our love , compassion and support to Jolene , Ashley (Sam), Sadie, Rhett and Allison and Miska at this very painful loss of the most wonderful human being ever, Allen was so honored when Charlie said " Yes " to becoming his Confirmation sponsor.
Both of us will forever be indebted to Charlie for his extreme kindness and compassion when Allen was in an ice skating accident and ended up with an injury that required him to be seen by an orthopedic surgeon at Desert Orthopedic Center and because Allen was 17 and I was out of the country and even with his GF's Mother with him the staff said he could not be seen which apparently created a fuss , fortunately for Allen at that moment Charlie overheard the commotion came out of his office and when told what was going on he said " I know Allen and then said " here is my credit card to the staff I will take care of everything ", I was notified, because of Charlie Allen was seen by the surgeon had surgery soon afterwards which was successful, when I took Allen for his post op follow up with the Surgeon I told the staff that
" Everybody needs a Charlie in their lives ".
Charlie rest in peace Dear Friend. You are so loved and will forever be missed including that million dollar smile.
