Charles Raymond Edwards, 91, passed away on June 13, 2013 in
Johns Creek, GA. He was born in Buffalo, NY to Charles R. and Teresa
Brooklyn Edwards. During his lifetime, Charles proudly served his
country in the Army Air Corp. Charles was a devoted husband, beloved
father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his wife, of 68 years, Elaine Keller Edwards;
parents; and brother, Harry Edwards. Surviving family members include
his sons, Charles Allen Edwards (Susan) and James Winston (Lynn); and
grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Edwards, Meghan Elizabeth Edwards, and
Timothy Charles Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, June 18, in the Chapel
of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home with Vigil Prayers at 6:30. A Graveside
Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 19 in Jacksonville
National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville FL 32218.
