CHARLES GROOM Obituary
On September 14, 2017, Charles Curtis Groom, age 73, of McCandless Township, passed away. Beloved husband of 48 years to the late Jane Christina Groom; father of Christina M. (Patrick J.) Lichina, of McCandless Township and Charles C. (Lisa M.) Groom II, of McCandless Township; loving Pap of Montana M. Lichina, Heather M., Charles C. III, Catherine C., and Brittney M. Groom; brother of Paul (Jill) Sarver and the late Larry Groom; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Highway, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Chuck was an amazing entrepreneur, with a great sense of business. He loved to travel, enjoyed his hobbies of sunbathing and cards. In his downtime, he spent time with Hershey/Skippy (his dogs) and his extensive family.
