Charles Gysan Obituary

Charles Cameron Gysan was born to Barbara Ann Perry Gysan and Richard Leigh Gysan Sr. in the early 1950's.
Charlie was an extremely talented child, who had an amazing gift and a natural ear for playing music. He was masterful at playing the Gulbransen organ, with its many pedals and two or three tiers of keys.
Even as a young teenager, he would sit on the wooden bench before this amazing complex organ and roll out the most amazing, complex musical pieces, as his body swayed to the rhythm of each song. He came alive with all of his soul's passion while playing that organ...
Charlie was a man of many talents. He loved world history and could recite any war, no matter how obscure, and explain why it happened and how it led to the next shift in humanity's progression.
He learned to speak fluent German, as a hobby as a teenager.
He was a master mechanic and loved to work with his father in restoring antique cars. He especially loved the Studebakers. He was passionate about the 1950's and 1960's era of classic cars. He could rebuild engines and was mechanically brilliant.
Charlie was an old soul and extremely humble. Being extremely intuitive and very psychic, he sensed many things before they came to fruition. He could predict future events. He could predict someone's destiny...His loving heart was open to most every soul, but his intuition would warn us from those he did not trust. And he was always right. And you could trust in him. He never lied or showed any signs of insecurity or neediness. He never was competitive with others or was over demanding. He never wanted to be the center of attention. Rather, as our mother taught us, he empowered others. He was a true friend to all that knew him.
Charlie was extremely funny. He loved to laugh and would always try to make others laugh as well. He loved to watch the old 1940's and 1950's comedies, such as the Three Stooges or Laurel and Hardy. He was nostalgic. He had old movie projectors, antique phones, 78 style records and many other memorabilia.
Charlie's mission was focused on creating harmony between the people he knew. He loved community and meaningful connection with others. He was extremely generous. He was the kind of guy that would give you "the shirt off his back".
As a dear friend relayed, "Charlie's humility belied his vast knowledge and wealth of talent".
As a profession, he was a realtor on Newbury Street in Boston for many decades. He had a large, round key ring weighted with over thirty keys connecting to Boston's most prominent landlords. With their trust in Charlie, he managed hundreds of landlords' rental properties and was a well-respected professional on Newbury Street. He had a reputation of "always being there in a pinch" for all of his clients. Knowing and loving Charlie, many of them became his good friends...
Charles Cameron Gysan was an unconditionally loving, being. He disliked anything fake or anyone that was a "con". He was real and would not settle for relationships that were not pure, honest, or consistent. He was selective. He chose wisely to surround himself with higher evolved souls that mirrored his values. He made everyone feel special, honored and truly was present to all beings in every moment. And that takes a special gift.
As a brother, he was nurturing, tender, sensitive and committed as a sibling. He was always there for me. He taught me about the birds and the bees...he taught me so much about developing one's psychic abilities; taught me about finding one's independence and so much more. He was a true brother and a constant friend. He had a unique gift for being able to listen, absorb everyone's plight and offer the most perfect wisdom in return. Every Sunday or more often, we would call each other...even if to exchange recipes and catch up on the week's complexities and joys.
I miss him, his love and his strong, kind voice. I know he is now my angel. I am lucky to have had such a brother, to be by my side through thick and thin...He will be missed by many.
