So sad to see this. With hardly any family back home to be there for him. He was a good kid in school. Came from a good family that my family had connections with many years ago. Prayers

Chuck was a force of nature—a man who lived a life that packed more into fifty years than many could have managed in twice that sum. He didn’t have to say much, but those words carried weight, verve, affection, and wisdom in each and every syllable he delivered.
I’m honored to have followed in his footsteps and will always treasure the private words of advice he chose to share with those with whom he’d walked a turn. If I can amount to half the man Chuck was, I’ll count myself a success and my life one well-lived.
Gonna miss you, brother. See you down the trail

I'm very sad to hear this. Chuck was a very nice person besides being a super cop, whom I wasn't afraid to go talk to when I needed some advice. He was friendly and willing to help in any way. I will miss you, Chuck. All my best. ❤
