Aunt Jenny, Sandy, Gina, Teresa, Brenda and families,

I'm so sad to hear of Uncle Chuck's death. I'm equally saddened by being unable to attend his funeral and be with all of you. I will miss his teasing and kind nature. I have many fond memories, but I don't know if I can ever forgive him for being the only person to insist that I try eating liver for the first (and very last time) in my life. Thank you Uncle Chuck for making me eat liver. I'm sure it helped prepare me to endure other unpleasantries throughout my life! Love all of you, Denise Schroeder

We will miss him. Chuck was a great brother! (A great 'tease' too but all in love & fun.) I was so proud of the hard work he did to overcome some tough obstacles in life but especially proud that he made Jesus Lord of his life! I know he's in the mansion prepared for him right now -- probably out in his "mansion workshop" building something!

Dear Jenny, Gina and family,

I was so sorry to hear of Chuck's death. It's been a long ordeal for you all. Some of my fondest memories are times spent at your house. You truely were my "second family" and will always be very special to me.

My thoughts will be with you and I'll see you the next time I'm in MN.

With heartfelt sympathy, Deborah

To the Chuck Heinzen family.

Gina, and family. I am very sorry for your loss. No words can take away the sorrow and pain. But know people to care and share your loss. I can not remember a time growing up in Silver Bay, that the name of Chuck Heinzen wasnt part of my fathers conversations about Reserve Mining.. He was a very important friend and co-worker of my father. I remember Chuck being at my dad's funeral, with Micky L. That meant alot to me. Peace be with you. The family of Verner Anderson.. ~ The Bend in the Road ~

Sometimes we come to lifes crossroads

And view what we think is the end,

But God has a much wider vision,

And He knows it's only a bend -

The road will go on and get smoother,

And after we've stopped for a rest,

The path that lies hidden beyond us

Is often the part that is best . . .

So rest and relax and grow stronger -

Let go and let God share your load,

And have faith in a brighter tomorrow -

You've just come to a bend in the road.

I enjoyed working for Chuck at the Yards & Docks Dept of Reserve Mining. Because of his interest in the outdoors, he was fun to "BS" with. Likewise, you mention Mickey and Burge....also great guys.
