Grandad, Thank You
Thank you for being a man who embraced in his life a love and belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for the mentorship to not only your children but for all the children who later became adults that recall and reflect memories of how you gave words of wisdom and instruction on life. Thank you for showing and leading by example to your family and your friends. Thank you for the discipline and the love you consistently shown towards people, even when you helped them and they did not appreciate it. Thank you for being you. It is quite normal to not want to see you go but as those who have a belief in our lord and savior jesus christ, we know that our time here is temporary! God has now deemed it fit for you to "come home". To my family, my dad, my uncle and my aunt, your father was definitely a real father , a real man. Im thankful to God that I have had a long knowing relationship with him as well as my kids knew and loved him as well. Parents, grandparents and in some cases great grandparents are in my opinion the key to family structure, history and love. As I come to a close, I'm only saddened for a little while, that's because I know he is in a better body, better mind and most importantly a better place. He is home. We love you, and hope to see you again.

Mr. Jackson was a mechanic that worked on our cars from time to time, always honest, always pleasant, quick with a smile and a good word. Taught auto mechanics to many young people at the Breckinridge Job Corps. I'm proud to have known him, glad he lived to 100, sad we've lost another member of the greatest generation.

Aunt Flora and children,
My memories are flooded, thinking about the life of Uncle Charles. A great man has been among us and I really appreciate him.
I am so sorry that I could not be with you bodily but, my prayer and thoughts are there. We have this hope that we will see him in the morning. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me Write, Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Rev.14:13
Love you much,
