In memory of
Aldea Martin
June 1, 2010
Charles Jacobson was the finest man I have ever known. He shared his beautiful and worldly thoughts with absolutely everyone. He gave every bit of love he could muster to his children, his wife, his neighbors and his country. Knowing and loving Charlie and Pat has been one of the great joys of my life, and I am a better person because of their friendship. I am definitely not alone in this realization.
God rest you, Charlie. You have done so much - He will take good care of you now. Aldea Martin, Carlsbad, CA.

Dr, Jacobson or Charlie was truly the most magnificent individual I have ever known. The sharing of his life's passions during our relatively short relationship have influenced me greatly and his friendship will last forever. I join his family in celebrating his contributions and love. Bob Victorin, Delray Beach, FL

A life well lived. A physician and scholar with a profound depth of worldly knowledge. A colleague and friend intensely involved in community, medicine, international affairs, and for many years senior advisor to Trinity College presidents. Amazingly eloquent in oratory.
My heartfelt condolences to Pat, Wells, and the entire family. The loss of a loved one leaves pain which I hope will gradually subside. May the memories of shared times, poignant moments, and humorous incidents help sustain you as time
passes. My thoughts are with you.
