Charles Johnson

Charles Robert Johnson, 87, known to his loved ones as Bob, of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, at his daughter's home in West Bridgewater, MA, after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 3, 1935, in Randolph, MA, to the late Norman O and Annie B Johnson. Bob was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly, sister, Helen Van Dam, and his son, Joseph P Johnson.

Bob was a longtime resident of Brockton, MA. He was a pipefitter by trade and had a lengthy career. He was a proud member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Local 51.

Bob is survived by his sister, Marilyn Gould, and his brother, Norman Johnson. He is also survived by his son, Charles R Johnson Jr, his daughter, Robin L Forbes, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Riley.
