Mrs. Kelly and Family:
Dr. Kelly delivered me in March of 1959 and continued to make at home visits to my home in South Mpls. while I was a small child...how different the medical attention was at that time...I remember when he pierced my ears when I was in the 8th grade and although my mother protested and protested, eventually she gave in and I could boast my earrings to my classmates which was quite an accomplishment for this was indeed a very special occasion....I have thought about Dr. Kelly many times since my move to Chicago in 1981 and have hoped that he was healthy and accomplished. He had an office next to my father's place of work in Edina and I can remember seeing him and waving hello and goodbye while waiting for my father to finish his wookday....thank you for listening and I wish you peace and contentment as you continue on in life without your special mate...you will be united and always remember...the soul never dies...with love, Katherine

Jeanne and I extend our deepest sympathy to Dr. Kelly's family. I was a classmate of his in the Incarnation School class of January, 1936. We saw him and his wife this May at the "annual"
class reunion. I'm happy that we were able to attend, so we could meet again after so many years.

I am writing to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of Dr. Kelly. I was a patient of his and during a 3 week stay in the hospital I celebrated my 19th birthday. Dr. Kelly was thoughtful enough to remember and brought me a flower. His gentle kindness was a true gift. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Dr. Kelly was one of my mentors. He exemplied all that was decent & good in both family & emergency medicine. A tireless worker, always kind & caring. Was totally focused on the needs of his patients. Would give you whatever time you needed, whether professional or personal.
You will be sorely missed, Dr. Kelly!

Dr Kelly was my family doctor since I was born in 1958! He is the reason I became a doctor. I admired and respected him. I considered Patty my best friend in 3rd grade at St. Richard's school. Please accept my deepest sympathy to your entire family.

I'm a friend of Doc Kelly's daughter Patty and her husband Lane.
I attended the Edina-Wayzata high school hockey game at Bloomington Arena in March 2004, and saw Doc Kelly sitting by his daughter Patty. I thought it was pretty special that Mike could have his grandfather in the stands for his big game.
