Charles LeDuff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 15 to Oct. 17, 2013.
Charles "Roy" LeDuff, 74

Charles "Roy" LeDuff, a resident of Cotter passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the Gassville Therapy and Living Center.

He was born June 15, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Royal Charles and Betty Jean (Frick) LeDuff. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as an electrician. After his military service he owned a construction company in Michigan. After selling the construction company he was the Operations Manager of the Silver Dome in Pontiac, Michigan. On November 11, 1978, he married Mary Joan Rainey in Pontiac Michigan. Together they relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where they operated a bakery and then an auto paint store. They relocated to Mountain Home and purchased M and M Concrete in 1999. Roy was a member of the Elks Lodge #1714 in Mountain Home and he loved playing golf. When someone would ask his wife, Joan about Roy she would always say "he is the most warm, loving, caring man but just rotten enough to be interesting". Roy was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marilyn Navarre; a daughter, Nicole LeDuff and a granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Joan M. LeDuff of Cotter; a son, Charlie LeDuff of Detroit, Michigan; two step-daughters, Debra Bain of Adrian, Michigan and Sandra Vejar of Phoenix, Arizona; a step-sister, Debbie Campbell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a step-brother, Bobby Zink of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, Claudette LeDuff; three step grandchildren, Tiffany, Richard and Jonathan, all of Michigan; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his very special dog, Muffin.

Arrangements are private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
