Charles Bradley "Brad" LeHew, age 72, of Katy, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Brad was born in Clinton, Iowa, however he spent the majority of his life in the greater Houston area. After moving to Texas and completing his Masters degree in Education from Baylor University, he spent his entire career teaching and coaching at the high school level.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Gerri, and their four children. Stephanie Wilcox and husband John of Rosenberg, Texas, Bridget Frantz and husband JP of Tomball, Texas, Rebecca Villalaz and husband Ruben of Katy, Texas, and Brad LeHew, Jr. and wife Jessica of Katy, Texas. Brad was also the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Lorena LeHew of Granbury, Texas, his brother, Lawrence LeHew and wife Diane of Charlotte, North Carolina, his brother, Mark LeHew and wife Cindy of Geneva, Illinois, and his sister, Janice Rainwater and husband Curt of Granbury, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Redeemer Community Church in Katy, Texas.
