Dear Manoli Family,

I am so sorry to be late with my condolences. You all have been though so much during the last month with the family losses of such dear people.

Your husband and father was a wonderful man, there is no doubt about that. But I will tell you I am most thankful for.

No, it's not for producing such wonderful children that I am proud to have known and have as friends.

No, it's not being the best "professor in the world" my brother, James, who was his student would say.

No, it's not because he was a good friend and comfort to my parents.

It's because I'm most thankful for knowing him. Inspiring, funny and easy going is what I remember. And I always will.

God bless you all.

Dear Anita,

My prayers are with you and your family. So many wonderful memories of you and Chuck come to mind. I so well remember when you and Chuck came to Joe Bator's funeral in Republic in 2012; it meant the world to his family; I was so grateful for that.

How I wish that I could be there for you now. It was my nephew, Tom Wright who passed on the obituary notice, friends of his went to St. Vincent. I was so glad that I had the chance to see you last month. Again, my prayers and condolences are with you.

Fr. Frank

Chuck Manoli was a quiet, unassuming guy and, for me, a lasting influence because he helped me to become a life long learner. He was the greatest teacher and one of the giant of SVC during my time (Class of 72)

Anita; Manoli children; and all: It is with much sadness that I attempt to write this. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I was lucky to know Chuck through family gatherings. It has been easy to see how well-liked and well-respected Mr. Manoli is. His list of accomplishments is extensive. I have been more touched by his love of his dear wife and family. I am more familiar with CJ, Hugh, siblings, and families. The impressive accomplishments of this bunch has given Chuck and Anita much to be proud of. It is my hope that your sadness can be set aside somewhat so that we can honor and celebrate a life, well-lived. May each special memory shine in your heart, and bring you peace.

love on everyone with whom he came in contact. His gentle ways will long be remembered.

Mrs. Manoli, and the entire family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. My memories of Mr. Manoli, are many thinking back on my years at St. Vincent. His smile was infectious and his love of teaching and love for St.Vincent was clear for everyone to see. His legacy lives on in the thousands of students he had over the years. May God bless you Mr.Manoli.
